Value for money
These were a bit tight at first but after a week of use they have softened enough to give a tight grip but not be too difficult to get on and off. These are great for the classic lifts where you want the plates secure. However, I wouldn't use these for the olympic lifts if you plan on dropping the weights. For maximum barbell and plate life it's better to go for the lockjaw style collars for that.

Does the job time and time again
As far as collars go these badboys do the job time and time again. For the price you really can't complain. Quality construction and built to last, enough said.
