What’s the benefit of a lever belt? Lifting belts are made to support your spine by increasing pressure in your core. By using a belt, you increase the intra-abdominal pressure in your body– meaning you can lift more weight and help prevent injuries. However, it’s not a replacement for proper lifting technique.
Unlike belts with one or two prongs, lever belts only need to be adjusted the first time you use them. This makes it faster and easier to put on and take off the belt without fiddling with the prongs each time.
Should I choose the 10mm or 13mm Lever Belt? Both belts offer substantial support. The main difference is that the 13mm belt has extra material, making it slightly thicker and offering slightly more support. If you're a beginner or haven't used a lifting belt before, you might find the 10mm belt more comfortable.

My order arrived quickly and with no fuss and unlike other equipment suppliers strength shop didnt take the p*** with delivery charges. This is my first lever lock belt and I spent a long time researching what would be best for me as a step up from a self locking belt. Strength shops 10mm lever belt was recommended to me by someone in my gym and I decided to take their advice. I am very glad I did. The belt and buckle are both very high quality, I can't fault either and while for me personally it took some getting use to a stiffer belt I can honestly say the extra support this belt gives me has really helped my squat and deadlift. Would definitely recommend and would and will buy again..

Excellent quality lifting belt, provides more than enough support and feels extremely well built. The dark grey looks really sleek and the lever is nice and smooth to engage and disengage. Easy to put together and use.
