High Quality, great price, will last forever!

Very pleased with the Strength Shop Open Trap Bar. It arrived quickly and well packaged. I chose this one over other brands due to the build quality, price and extra exercises that can be performed on this one over other brands. You need to see this bar up close to understand just how good the quality of the materials used are and how solid the welding is. The knurled grip on the handles is just right and you have the option of two grip sizes to choose from. Love the built in jack stands, they save so much time and make it safer to load/unload the bar. The bar feels so balanced to me when attempting to lift. Deadlifts have honestly never felt so good to me. It is far more comfortable to deadlift with this bar than my straight bar. Now I use this bar ALL my back pain has gone during deadlifts. I can use it for deadlifts, shrugs, rows etc. I am lifting more weight because of this bar and it feels more comfortable. Definitely looking at purchasing more items from strength shop. Also a big thank you to customer services especially Reece for helping me out. They went totally out of their way to make sure I was satisfied with everything after I encountered a minor issue. I can highly recommend purchasing this bar.

Very versatile bar

First off, ordered at lunch time and it was here the following day before lunch, standard delivery. Nothing standard about that!
Its a very versatile and solid bit of kit for a home gym.
Shrugs, rows, farmers, drag curls, lunges, hammer curls to name but a few. The choice of handles is a nice touch as is the built in jack that makes it easy to load and store.
I can not speak of the durability yet as not had it long, but at this early stage it feels well worth the money to me!

Excellent Trap Bar

Easy to load plates on as the bar sits on its stand. The plates slide on smoothly on the hardened chrome. Easy to sit the bar on its stand because of the leverage - even when loaded. I find that I can lift heavier with this bar. I found 120Kg x10rep was grip limit for me with the knurling and would recommend straps beyond that. The trap bar feels safer on my back, having injured myself 3 times deadlifting with a standard barbell. The low grip on this trap bar may be a good option if you want a safer squat and safer deadlift alternative. I am using the 28mm grip but I like the option of the 34mm grip which can be interchanged easily. The open aspect to the bar enables other exercises - check youtube. A highly recommend piece of kit for any gym. I wish I had bought one sooner.
